COMMENDATIONS & RECOGNITIONS

Effort, commitment, execution and communication are all attributes that makes for  great players. There's no doubt that our team the Woodbridge Strikers 05 Boys possess all of those qualities. It's therefore a true testament  when some of them are acknowledged on an individual basis as a symbol of their hard work.

Momentous as it is for the Woodbridge organization to post such information on their website, its far more significant to the individual's family on their child being selected to participate, thus representing as an ambassador for fellow teammates who will definitely learn and benefit from their experiences.

Let me clarify and give justification before I continue using the words, " Hard Work ".  It is not to imply that others who were not selected didn't demonstrate hard work.  It is used in the context of this article as ones willingness to give their all in every situation whilst on the field of play.

Tayvin and Tremaine's hard work throughout the entire Southampton Tournament paid dividends for them both in receiving the honour of attending the 7 day development training program at one of the most prestigious soccer academy in the world based upon graduates who went on to dominate the world stage. It is within their powers to accomplish a victory that no one has ever achieved before by an invited trainee. To be given the chance of actually training with their academy squad with the possibility of receiving a contract.

These two young boys have the potential of opening up doors with the hard work they display in training and more so in games. Tayvin and Tremaine... continue to be disciplined, committed to listening and appreciate your success but remain humble on your journey. 

The rewards will only be much more commendations and recognitions bestowed upon you both. Great things are ahead be a sponge and take in all information available and provided.

A message to the boys who didn't get an opportunity this time around; don't doubt your ability just remember every coach, scout and manager looks for something different in a player. For example Isco was voted best player at Real Madrid last year and touted to be the heir apparent for Andres Iniesta the play maker for the Spanish national team. He even made the short list nominated for player of the year. Now with the new coach at Real Madrid he barely gets any playing time as this coach does not appreciate Isco's style of playing. Continue all to craft your game and eventually someone will appreciate your specific playing style and talent.
