Woodbridge SC B05 vs TFC U13 Firstly, let me make myself absolutely clear that I am not criticizing neither berating only creating an awareness that will prevent another showing such as what happened in our last game. I was thinking not to comment on Friday's game. However, after hearing about who won today's final I felt compelled to.  The words of the legendary soccer player Pele, "That it was the honest writers who made it possible for him to correct mistakes made when they wrote about it helped him immensely". Also, I can't stand by and behave like the thirty-eight people who watched Catherine Genovese mugged and stab to death in 1964  New York. They said nothing and did nothing.   I chose to be like the first and not the latter.  Isaiah commented on the way home that our parents are like the Los Angeles Lakeirs fans only cheer when they are winning and cannot motivate them when not playing great as stated by Kobe Bryant.  Yes, we anticipated

Woodbridge SC VS. Sigma FC Lady Luck Was Absent It was a pulsating game, not one for the faint of heart. Strikers started off a bit out of sync.. maybe it was playing inside the TFC dome that got them feeling the jitters. The ambiance of the surrounding was totally different from any other dome most of the boys have been in. Nothing much in the first quarter as the boys took basically fifteen minutes to settle down and play Woodbridge Strikers type of soccer. In the second quarter our boys emerged with a renewed vigor and enthusiasm about moving  the ball much quicker and winning the fifty fifty plays. Our midfielders started to dictate the tempo of the game with lots more authority and effectiveness demonstrated with a telling ball out of the center circle that ripped open Sigma's defence that Fateh latch onto and almost scored. Starting of the third quarter, officially second half saw Strikers continue to press for that elusive goal only to be thawed

SHARING OF INFORMATION

I was in attendance on both days of the charity shield games held inside the OSA over the weekend where I witnessed some brilliant team performance and scintillating individual brilliance. On Saturday it was a disappointment seeing coach Omar's U14 girls getting their first major lost, moreover in a final... must be harder to cope with. It only holds true that it's not the amount of attempts, but it's how many actually gets pass the goal keeper into the back of the net. If goals  were counted by attempts, they, the Woodbridge Strikers 04 girls would have won quite convincingly. The Woodbridge Strikers 04 Boys had a more rewarding result by lifting the Charity Shield Trophy for their respective age group. It materialized into a great game full of end to end plays with a lot of physicality being displayed. Leaving both sets of supporters having a go at the referee for not making the correct call in their opinion. Even in the penalty shootout. The main reason for writing th
