Everyone was in total disbelief when Chris went down in pain. He had looked in every aspect of his normal self as the"Ace defender" we all know him to be.

It's in that regard I ask all parents whatever you religion to pray for Chris and family at this time. When one hurt...the entire Woodbridge Strikers OPDL U13 family feel the pain.
I pray God's blessings and healings upon Chris .🙏🙏

    My heart skipped a beat when I heard of this. I hope and pray that this is not too serious and that Chris will be back out on the field with his teammates very soon.

Firstly, let me extend congrats to coach Joe and coach Marco for the splendid job in the absence of coach Chris. Honestly, I don't know where to begin as it was highly entertaining and exciting in the same breath. The weather condition was very conducive for soccer. Did it materialized into a brilliant game of soccer especially in Woodbridge Strikers favor ? Playing against TFC OPDL boys from rumors one also has to contend with the referee's decision...we have witnessed it first hand. The roar by Strikers is always a determining factor of their vibes if they are in for a good game and today's shout could be heard from far and wide. Strikers sent a verbal message before a ball was kicked or the blowing of the referees whistle. Even in warm up gave the impression of cohesion, professionalism and focus. TFC came out from kick off as a rocket fired into space trying as best as possible in stopping Woodbridge Strikers Boys from playing out of defense. Brian is photographed in the above photo His excitement was hard to detect behind the humility and shyness of his personality. It took some convincing for Brian, Cristian's dad, to agree on doing a written article from a parent's view point. He was asked specifically to share from a parent's experience coming from a family that possesses a rich history in the sport. According to Brian, "Cristian's selection to travel to Southampton (UK) was a privilege to say the least. In addition to our regular Club training, Cristian attended additional goalkeeper training prior to departure, not knowing the level and caliber we were walking into.
